TAITA SANTUARY TSAVO EAST TSAVO WEST( 5 DAYS). The sight of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling and spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of palm-shaded Galana River is one of the most evocative images in Africa. This, along with the 300 kilomtere long Yatta Plateau, the longest lava flow in the world, make for an adventure unlike any other in the Tsavo East. The park forms the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust –red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk and the prolific bird life features 500 recorded species.

The savannah ecosystem comprises of open grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation and rocky ridges including the Poacher’s Lookout where visitors can see the teeming herds in the plains below. Tsavo West offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world and attractions include elephant, rhino, Hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, Buffalos, diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler.
Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary is a privately owned wildlife sanctuary and national park in Kenya. It is located in Taita-Taveta County approximately 220 kilometers from Mombasa. The sanctuary covers an area of 28,000 acres, and is adjacent to Tsavo West National Park and the LUMO Community Wildlife Sanctuary.
Pick up from Mombasa hotel or Airport in the morning, drive to Tsavo East national park which is less than 5 Hrs drive. Tsavo East national park renowned for its large numbers of elephants and the famous man eating lions. you will arrive with Game en route Via Aruba Dam to Ashnil Aruba lodge. Check in and have lunch at your lodge. Early morning game drive later you break for breakfast, After breakfast game en-route Leave Tsavo East for Taita Hills Sanctuary which is less than 3 Hrs drive and sufficiently isolated to develop endemic forms and birders which come from afar to see the Taita Hills Olive Thrush and the Taita White-eye. You arrive time for lunch check inn at Taita Hills Game Lodge. After lunch transfers to salt lick game lodge is a luxurious safari escape set in the heart of the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary overlooking a waterhole and the vast Tsavo plains. Afternoon game drive until late in the evening dinner and overnight at Salt lick game lodge.
Early morning game drive return to your lodge for breakfast, After breakfast leave Taita Hills for Tsavo West which is less than 4 Hrs drive. Continue with Game en route to Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge no doubt has one of the most breathtaking views in Kenya, built in an open-air style, has a view of floodlit water holes and Leopard sometimes can be spotted. Check in and have lunch. In the afternoon, more game drive. Later dinner and overnight at the Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge.
Early breakfast, then proceed for a morning game drive with a visit of Mzima Springs where you can see hippos and fish in a crystalline clear water. There are possibilities of seeing crocodiles and monkeys. Later proceed to Amboseli National park which is less than 3 Hrs drive arriving in time for lunch and check in at Kibo safari camp. Afternoon game drive within the Amboseli park which lies at the floors of Mount Kilimanjaro, Mount Kilimanjaro offers scenic backgrounds for photography. Elephants, Lions, Cheetah, Buffalo can be seen at the swamp area. Later dinner and overnight at Kibo safari Camp.
Early morning game drive later return to your lodge for Breakfast. After breakfast check out with a short game drive en-route off Amboseli and drive to Nairobi. you will arrive Nairobi in time for lunch. Lunch at Carnivore afterwards drop off at your respective hotel or Airport.
