Salt Lick Taita Hills Sanctuary/ Tsavo East(3 Days 2 Nights). Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary is a privately owned wildlife sanctuary and national park in Kenya. It is located in Taita-Taveta County approximately 220 kilometers from Mombasa. The sanctuary covers an area of 28,000 acres, and is adjacent to Tsavo West National Park and the LUMO Community Wildlife Sanctuary.

This, along with the 300 kilomtere long Yatta Plateau, the longest lava flow in the world, make for an adventure unlike any other in the Tsavo East. The park forms the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust –red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk and the prolific bird life features 500 recorded species.

Pick up from your Mombasa hotel in the morning and drive to Tsavo East national pack which is renowned for its large numbers of elephants and the famous man eating lions, Game en-route Via Aruba Dam to Ashnil Aruba lodge. Check in and have lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, another game drive at the park later dinner and overnight at the Ashnil Aruba lodge.
Early morning game drive later you break for breakfast, After breakfast proceed with game en-route Leave Tsavo East for Salt lick Taita Hills Sanctuary which is sufficiently isolated to develop endemic forms and birders which come from afar to see the Taita Olive Thrush and the Taita White-eye. you will arrive around lunch time. lunch at Taita Hills Game Lodge. After lunch transfer to Sarova Salt lick game lodge. Later afternoon game drive until late in the evening dinner and overnight at Sarova Salt lick game lodge.
Early morning breakfast, later after breakfast proceed with Game drive out of Taita Hills sanctuary and drive to Mombasa. You will arrive Mombasa your coastal hotel around lunch time.
